LIQUID LEVEL MEASUREMENT
ACCESSORIES:
Ullage bar:
An essential tool for obtaining highly accurate ullage measurements
(with the measuring tape).
The bar is attached to the measuring tape (without damaging it) at
the desired height. The tape and its weight are lowered into the tank to
be measured and the bar is placed over the ullage opening. The ullage corresponds
to the length of tape between the plate and the point where the product
wets the tape.
Liquid-finder pastes are used to determine the exact point where the
product touches the tape.
|
|
Oil finders:
This type of paste is applied to the measuring tape or ullage
gauge and changes colour upon contact with the product, allowing precise
determination of the surface of the product being measured.
Water finders:
This type of paste is applied to the measuring tape or ullage
gauge and changes colour upon contact with water allowing precise determination
of the product/water interface.
